Our Mission

The goal of this program is to instill the skills and understanding needed to survive and ultimately thrive in the Wilderness. The courses we facilitate cover aspects of self reliance, wilderness survival and bushcraft. Participants of all skill levels are welcome from beginner to experienced. If you seek to become more knowledgeable and at ease in the outdoors, this camp is for you.

The Who, What & Why

The property is privately owned and operated by the YouTube Survivalist Bob Hansler. Folks have been asking for a program where they could come and learn many of the skills demonstrated on the YouTube Channel. Though I’d imagine that some of those requests were thinly veiled attempts to hang out with Huck, there are so many folks out there looking for a genuine experience where actual knowledge and hands on wilderness skills can be acquired. After years of considering, seeing what other survival schools are about and always looking for ways to spread understanding and the love of the outdoors with others….it’s becoming a reality. There’s a real need for authentic survival skills out there. If you’ve given some of these other programs a try and come away dissatisfied, I’d encourage you to give it one more shot.
