FAQs

Q?

Would you be open to a request for a possible video?

A.

Absolutely! The ideas and input from those who've interest in the outdoors are of high importance to me. I'd be interested in your thoughts and if possible, will make the request happen.

Q?

Do you put on any survival classes or clinics?

A.

At the moment, no. Building infrastructure and completing more videos will be taking up the majority of 2016. Classes will become available in the Spring and Fall of 2017. Follow my Facebook page to keep up to date.

Q?

How often will new posts and information be made available on Outbackerish.com?

A.

Outbackerish.com is new, especially considering the multitude of well established survivalism websites. The first posts on Outbackerish.com was made on August 27, 2015. Expect post updates on average every 2-3 days. Each post will be covering a Wilderness Survival Skill with written commentary, pictures, illustrations, and a comprehensive YouTube video produced in-house by us. If you've any ideas or would like to see a series or post made to address an aspect of survivalism, we'd love to hear from you.

Q?

What is Outbackerish?

A.

The goal of Outbackerish is to become an archive of Wilderness Survival Skills. Collections and compilations of tried and true techniques and wisdom regarding everything a person might need to survive and thrive in the outdoors.

Q?

What makes OutBackerish.com different from all of the other survivalist sites?

A.

Outbackerish.com is a site that was built in response to the majority of existing survival sites/forums. What is meant by this, is that the misinformation and inexperience that is evident in the wasteland of blogs and videos concerning survival are bleak and depressing. OutBackerish.com is to be a guide that provides experienced video demonstrations as well as informative written commentary on the skills and techniques necessary for survival in any situation.
